You can consult the different rates by following this link: https: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.compagnie-vendeenne.com\/fr\/tarifs\" target=\"_blank\">\/\/www.compagnie-vendeenne.com\/fr\/tarifs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Close to the Saint Gilles Croix de Vie pier, several parking solutions are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Ile d&#8217;Yeu pier parking lot, on<\/strong> avenue Georges Pompidou in Saint Gilles, is free and only 500 meters from your destination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or <strong>the Salines school parking lot<\/strong>, 600 m away, rue des Paludiers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong><em>Please note:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to <strong>cycle<\/strong> around the island, which is a common practice in summer. You can rent one for your getaway. But don&#8217;t forget to book yours in advance, as these are very popular in high season. You can also rent one on the mainland and take it with you on the boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To circumnavigate the island, you&#8217;ll need an average of <strong>4 hours 30 minutes to cover the 28 kilometers at a leisurely pace<\/strong>, with a few breaks thrown in for good measure. This is a relatively easy circuit, with no difficulties such as steep slopes or slippery surfaces. From wild little coves to vast stretches of sand, harbours and lighthouses, you&#8217;ll be spoilt for choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>jewel of the Atlantic<\/strong> is home to many wonders, I guarantee it. And if you think we&#8217;re overdoing it, let us know what you think once you&#8217;ve visited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s difficult to sum up all the beauty and diversity of this island, but if we had to choose a few places not to be missed, this is the list we could draw up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>The beach at Anse des Soux, <\/strong>for lovers of beautiful rocky beaches with fine sand. This magnificent stretch of white sand, rock and clear water will take you on a voyage of discovery. Take a break from this bubble of happiness for a moment. It&#8217;s a little corner of paradise we&#8217;re offering you here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The other beaches are just as beautiful as each other:<\/strong> la plage de la belle Maison, la plage des Sapins, la plage des Sabias&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Port de la Meule<\/strong>, on the southwest side of the island. Surrounded by two beautiful cliffs, this harbor is protected from waves and bad weather. Nestled in these rocks, it&#8217;s a peaceful little spot worth seeing. And close to this port, you&#8217;ll also find Chapelle Notre Dame, a small white chapel built by monks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>The Old Castle<\/strong>, which recounts the history of the island. This medieval site, built at the start of the Hundred Years&#8217; War, will tell you all about the jewel of the Atlantic. Take a guided tour of the monument, open daily in July and August (prices from \u20ac2 to \u20ac7).<br><em>Guided tour times:<\/em> 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 16:30, 17:00 and 17:30 daily in July and August. A seasonal menu and fresh produce await you. If you have a thirst for discovery, they&#8217;ll whet your appetite with their local dishes and impeccable service. Enjoy the fish of the day with a view of the harbour in front of you &#8211; what more could you ask for?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After this beautiful day, take the boat back to the mainland.
